Mass Emails Shut Down

A mass email was sent to 1,791 recipients of the District 145 community on Dec. 6.
Once it was sent, many responses were mailed via email advertising sales for the WHS yearbook. Annoyed, principal Ryan Ricenbaw sent an email shutting down the shenanigan.
“This was an unintentional email sent by a HS student. We apologize for the inconvenience it may have caused and the cluttering of inboxes that has ensued. I expect that all "replies" to this email cease at this point. Any further responses would be inappropriate and ill-advised,” Ricenbaw stated in the email.
Many students were annoyed with how many emails they received throughout the day. Numerous tweets and complaints were released after the email was sent out to the mass number of people.
A couple of days later, another major email was sent out by a student promoting the sale of her guinea pigs. This message was sent to the exact number of people as before. No replies were sent to this most recent message.
