Liars Back in Action for Season 7

As Season 6 of “Pretty Little Liars” came to an end on Aug. 11, die hard PLL fans are not-so-patiently awaiting the beginning of Season 7.

The Season 6 finale came as a shock to many viewers. “A”, the main villain, was revealed as CeCe Drake. CeCe was a fairly minor character and was often overlooked so it was impossible to see this coming.

Carried on from Season 5, the liars were locked up in “A’s” lair, the dollhouse, for most of Season 6. “Torture” puts it mildly, as CeCe put the liars through the most miserable times of their lives. From getting shocked, beaten, and to choose one friend over another, the girls soon became hopeless they would ever find a way out. One night, the girls woke up and they had no recollection of what had happened, but saw blood all over their clothes, skin, carpet and walls.

It didn’t just happen to one girl, it happened to them all.

As the girls were about to give up hope, Ali and a few of the girls’ boyfriends found the lair and rescued the girls.

In the meantime, CeCe revealed to Ali that not only was she “A”, but that they were actually sisters. As their dad and brother lie unconscious on the ground, CeCe explained to Ali her reason and why she targeted the girls.

As many fans may know, CeCe was not working alone. “Red Coat”, AKA Sara Harvey, was accompanied “A” in all her evil schemes. Once a lonely, weak girl sitting in a cold, dark room, now a villain working with the one person who ruined these girls’ lives forever.

Many predictions about season 7 have bounced around. We can probably expect to see “A” locked up and the liars living their lives freely, as adults. Since the main villain is suspected to be caught, some fans speculate a new person will fill the role of bad guy. Some mention an evil twin of the main group, or one of the PLL’s husbands turn out to be evil.

As the new year rolls around, many await for Jan 12 for the new season of “Pretty Little Liars” to get underway. Every Tuesday night at 8 o’clock on ABC Family, many fans will get under a blanket to watch their favorite show once again.
