Combat Boot Marching Around The World

Many young women are strutting their school halls in faux military get-up. Combat boots are latest hottest shoe, worn with everything from black leggings to sundresses.
There are limitless possibilities to what these fashionistas can wear with these rugged-but-chic lace up boots. Although, some pretty interesting combinations have shown up around the fashion world.
The boots that were made for walking jumped straight off the runway and into department stores. High end stores and designers like Steve Madden and Neiman Marcus have endless styles. If customers are stuck in Nebraska and want some of these name-brand styles, ordering online is the best bet, unless making the trek to Von Maur seems appealing.
Combat boots can give the bad-to-the-bone feel if they are worn correctly. They are a really cool way to give an outfit a rougher edge. Let’s be clear though; one should not wear them with let’s say, a sweatshirt and black leggings. In this case, combat boots look out of place and awkward.
Trending clothes must be worn the right way if the trend wants to stick around. Make sure that style is a key component in wearing these leather beauties. They are not the wear-all, go-to shoe.
Studs and cloth details are often added to combat boots. Make sure the boots are not clashing with any outfit that might have minor details as well.
Use fashion inspiration, but we all know how hipsters feel if their style is ripped off. Make them your own, but tap into your inner stylist to make sure your own is tasteful, not displeasing to the eye.
Watch the trends to see what shoe is going to take Spring 2014 by storm, but for now, combats are still in.
Self expression is a great concept, but if the experimentation makes combat boots cringe worthy, you should probably get back in line, soldier.
