Changes Made To A&P Locations

The Waverly High School staff made a few location changes to a handful of A&P classes.

Shanna Shaffer and her A&P class have moved from room 1001 to room 1003 with the rest of her class.

The Writing Support A&P is now located in the library.

PRAP now meets in room 1001 instead of the pod 2000 lab. Mrs. Turner moved her A&P from the library to the pod 2000 lab next to her room.

A need for a better location for the PRAP prompted the move. The technology is also accessed better in their new location.

“These changes were made to find a suitable place for PRAP to meet. We were originally placed in the pod 2000 lab, which was less than ideal because it was loud and full of distractions. We made a deal with the counseling office that we could use the business lab on days they didn't need it. Starting last week, they needed the lab again indefinitely. After talking to Mr. Ricenbaw and some other teachers, we settled on the current room arrangements,” PRAP adviser Erin Konecky said.

Moving the English Support room has its own positives and negatives.

“One of the big changes is we have more table space for workshops. Unfortunately, we have fewer computers available, which means students will need to be more prepared when they need help,” Blake Tobey said.

The Testing Support room will be moving forward despite the new changes.

“We still have our distance in the lab,” Kelly Bielenberg said.

These new changes will help improve learning possibilities and make getting help even easier than it was before.
