The Waverly High School girls bowling team picked up more than just spares when they rolled over the competition at the state title on Feb. 9.
The Vikes shutout Grand Island Northwest in three total games at Sunvalley Lanes. GINW didn't win any.
The girls bowling team held an undefeated season this year. Holding the class B state title was a great wrap up to the season.
"We've had an incredible season and this is just icing on the cake," senior Olivia Wulbern said.
After falling just short of the title for the past two years, the girls picked up the win and took state.
