Freshmen Boys Bring Style To WHS

The boys of Waverly High School have picked up on the latest style trends and are dressing to impress.

One could go so far as describing the new freshman fad as “preppy.” Khakis, sweaters and button up shoes is consistently seen on the boys walking through the hallways.

Most high school boys like to show up wearing jeans and a sweatshirt or sweatpants, hoping to get through the day as comfortably as possible. The new trend of looking sharp to learn is a pleasant sight to see.

Dressing to impress is something they take pride in.

“When someone first sees me, I want them to think well of me,” freshman Greyson Skrobecki said.

Style is something that the freshman boys take into account when they consider how people see them.

“I think people judge you from your style because it defines who you are. If you dress nicely, you obviously care about what people think about you,” freshman Aaron Jorgensen said.

Money could cause a major problem when it comes to style. It seems like the most stylish clothes are the most expensive to buy. Keeping that in mind, the boys of WHS take note of that and find stylish clothes at a reasonable price.

“I usually shop at Buckle, but honestly I like to shop at Kohl’s or Gordman’s because it’s cheaper,” Skrobecki said.

Style is a huge thing to teenagers. Looking good can make or break students in most schools. The freshman boys of WHS seem to know what they are doing when it comes to looking their best.
