Seniors Dylan Janecek and Ross Sheridan representing Boys Basketball
“I thought it was pretty exciting getting the whole school to recognize the basketball team and cheer for us,” Janecek said.
“It’s an honor, I’m proud to represent the team. Hopefully [the pep rally] will get a lot of students there so that we have a loud crowd cheering us on and helping us win,” Sheridan said.
Senior Nikki Larsen representing Girls Basketball
“As a captain of the Girls Basketball team it was a privilege to get to talk to the school about how our season is going and what our future is looking like. It is exciting to see the entire school’s support,” Larsen said.
“We have a great chance of winning our District and making it to State. Right now our major opponents, Norris and Pius X, have key players out with injuries. Our team is fully health and ready to win the title,” Larsen said.
Senior Dana Davenport and junior Tannah Schopp representing the Dance Team
“It gave the athletes a little boost, let people know how their seasons are going and let them know where they can go to see them compete,” Davenport said.
“I thought it was pretty good. It showed how much we support [the athletes],” Schopp said.
Senior Caitlin Davis representing the Speech Team and Spring Musical
“It was an honor because I’ve been in both for the last four years and they’re both a pretty big deal to me,” Davis said.
Senior Olivia Wulbern representing Girls Bowling
“It was exciting to represent them because I’m a senior and have been able to be on that team for four years. Being able to go to state was a really special experience and to be able to talk about in front of the whole school was exciting,” Wulbern said.
