Explicit Actions Make For Explicitly Awesome Show

Miley Cyrus’ performance on Mar. 6 at Omaha’s Century Link Center did not disappoint fans. Singing songs off of her latest album “Bangerz”, saying that she rocked Omaha that Thursday night is an understatement.

Icona Pop warmed the crowd up right at seven with an exciting welcome, stating that it was their first time in Omaha. The two pop singers kicked off their performance with the hit “All Night”, and evolved into a mix of their lesser-known songs and left the audience pumped after singing a remix of “I Don’t Care”, one of their most popular songs.

Those people against Miley Cyrus and her most recent behavior would not leave the arena impressed by the show. While she did a fine job of keeping her clothes on, Miley didn’t bother to limit the amount of vulgar gestures and language she used. Only a few of her songs contain curse words but Miley threw in a couple choice words here and there. The majority of fans got a kick out of her laid-back attitude. There were, of course, people in the audience rolling their eyes.

The Bangerz show wasn’t similar to any other concert a person may go to, with blow ups of objects relating to the song being sung or past antics Miley’s been up to. During her performance of “Can’t Be Tamed”, a ginormous dog was brought out. While singing “Party In The USA”, one dancer dressed up with a Ronald Reagan mask and many other dancers were dressed in patriotic colors or a mount rushmore costume and a Statue of Liberty costume. There were several little components put into the performance and every small aspect made the bigger picture just that much more enjoyable.

During the middle of her concert, Miley Cyrus labelled her performance as “the biggest party you’ll ever go to,” and ensured that fans felt that way. There was nothing but positivity in the arena all through the night. Not to mention, following the concert, numerous girls posted plenty of pictures on Instagram to let their friends know how great the show really was.

It’s safe to say that the Bangerz tour would not serve as a concert for a younger crowd. Teenagers that grew up semi-sheltered may also have a better night staying in and watching a movie. For adults and teens that aren’t afraid of mildly raunchy gestures here and there, the Bangerz tour would not dishearten.
