The freshmen involved in soccer for the new season are Addie Schneider, Britni Kuchera, Sidney Wells, Maggie Conway, Taylor Nielsen, Lindsay Brunssen, Dani Schreiber and Emma Thede. The freshman have come into the high school team ready to play and work with their teammates. Being new to the team can be hard. The pressures of placement on the Varsity or JV team can The team leaders understand the need to support the freshmen.

"Nicki stays after practice with me sometimes to help me get better. If someone needs help, they are always the first ones to help," Conway said.

The girls take on Seward in their first soccer game today, March 20 at 6:00 p.m. on the Viking field.

"We are excited to play Seward. We have been working on lots of new ways to attack. That should make us a challenge for opposing teams," Fritz said.
