Dying Trend Is Still Fierce

Throwing up the deuces over your eye has been a skyrocketing trend at Waverly High. Scrolling through Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat stories, staying fierce is a hot new fad.
The new trend has been been popping up since the start of the new school year. Although some pull it off better than others, it’s one trend many hope doesn’t succeed. Like rumors, or even stubborn rashes that won’t go away, staying fierce is one thing that aggravates many. Like fashion and many other things, people just use the fad as a way to catch attention.
“It’s very irritating how everyone just does it to get people to notice them,” senior Emily Helzer said. “Everyone just does it now to mock the originators."
Despite the fact most of the school does it for a comical humiliation factor, the young trend setters still continue to chuck up the deuces. Like duck lips or planking everywhere imaginable, many hope staying fierce will soon disappear like past fads.
Although the fierce friends think they’re cute, many don’t agree and think it’s quite ridiculous. “It just look like they’re trying to keep their eye open and just makes them look like fools,” Helzer said.
Even though some think staying fierce will boost their popularity, what they don’t realize is that it lowers it more than anything. Many love new trends to change up their regular lives, what many don’t realize is how irritating this new craze actually is.
Many hope the the fierce mob will soon be put to rest within the near future, to save everyone from the fierce epidemic.
Staying fierce is a new trend everyone hopes loses it’s fierceness soon.
