Former Waverly High School activities director Jack Guggenmos was recently elected into the National High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame.

Guggenmos served as Waverly’s AD for 12 years.

The National High School Hall of Fame was established with the sole intent of honoring high school athletes, coaches, administrators and others in the high school sports world.

“I am truly honored and humbled to be recognized by my peers in this way,” Guggenmos said. “One cannot be successful without the help and loyalty of a lot of other people and in my case, this recognition is a true testament to the outstanding athletes, assistant coaches, administrators, support staff and parents that have crossed my path over the years.” Guggenmos is receiving recognition this June in Wyoming at a national ceremony. Athletes and other outstanding administration will attend this ceremony.
