Nudes Are Private, So Hack Off

Several nude photos of female celebrities were leaked after their iCloud accounts were hacked.

If this doesn’t describe a gross invasion of privacy, I don’t know what does.

An individual’s privacy is something that everybody should respect, even if it’s a celebrity. True, celebrities’ personal lives are usually a little bit more open than the regular person walking down the street, but I do not think that hacking into a celebrity's iCloud account and posting stolen private photos is something that shouldn’t happen in our dizziest daydreams.

Many people believe that if you don’t want a nude picture floating around somewhere, then you shouldn’t take one in the first place. After all, every hacker’s gold mine is finding nude pictures of a celebrity.

On the flip side, everyone has the right to take pictures of themselves and shouldn’t have to worry about who’s going to see them, because nobody should hack into them anyway. Now that people are able to get into those private things, celebrities and the average Joe definitely have to be careful about what they’re keeping on their phone.

With social media at the level that it’s at, it is definitely much easier to get these personal pictures. However, just because you can do it, doesn’t mean you have to right to do it. People in this society think that if it’s possible, it’s permissible.

People that feel the need to barge into people's personal lives just to make themselves popular is ridiculous. Especially with celebrities, one photo can put someone in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. The fact that people would take bad recognition just for people to notice them makes me sick.

Keeping privacy actually private is a huge issue, especially for celebrities. Hopefully, these nude hacks come to an end and people come to their senses.
