Look in the sky! It’s a bird. It’s a plane. No, it’s a new Marvel movie.

Marvel Comics released a list of heroes this October that will hit the big screen with heroic might over the next few years, and there are heroes that will take their first solo movie adventures.

The first of this line of movies will come out May 1st of next year with a brand new Avengers movie: “Age of Ultron”, in which they take on what is described as the main Avengers villain.

A second theatre-filling comic-based movie, Captain America: Civil War, that will arrive in 2016 pits two heroes against each other. Heroes Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans) will go head to head and the hostile heroes will be joined by Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). Black Panther will also have a movie of his own coming out in early November of 2017.

Amongst all the new movies in planning, there is magic in the air as Marvels Mystical hero Doctor Strange will appear on the big screens on Nov. 4, 2016.

For “Guardians of the Galaxy” fans, the goofy team of heroes will return May 2017 to save the universe once again. Marvel has not portray the villain, but hopes are high for this sequel.

One sequel is good but an additional sequel is even better. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) is coming back for a third solo movie “Thor: Ragnarok”. Marvel has revealed this film will pick up where Thor left story in “Age of Ultron”, as he takes on his biggest challenge yet. This film will thunder into theatres July 28, 2017.

Marvel has also decided to bring out their first movie with a female lead: Captain Marvel. Kevin Feige, Marvel president, has admitted to wondering what to do with the earthbound hero since her powers originate from deep space. The heroine will be in theatres July 6, 2018.

The final movie is so huge that it has to be split in two. The Avengers return once again to fight evil as though the world depended on it. “Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1” will begin May 2018 and the mind-blowing second part is something Marvel will keep from the fans until May 2019.

With all the upcoming Marvel films, the nerdy world of Marvel will always be safe.
