Meghan Trainor Gives Herself New Title

Meghan Trainor released her debut album “Title” on Jan. 9, and you could say it left “lips moving.”

It’s been a long time coming for Trainor’s success considering she’s been a rising star since her youth.

The disc includes 15 songs that were developed “very honestly” about “very honest stories,” Trainor claimed

“Title” was developed to give empowerment to youth through stories written about changes in Trainor’s life.

The remarkably written songs explore love and life all in a catchy, classy and sassy way.

Trainor began singing at the age of six and has been songwriting since 11. In her early years, Trainor joined a band called “Island Fusion” and later her school’s jazz band. At fifteen, she produced and released her self-titled album.

Later, Trainor attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.

After releasing more self-produced albums, Trainor earned her publishing deal with Big Yellow Dog Music and began to write for numerous stars.

In 2014, it was her turn to shine and that’s when “All About That Bass” was released.

“All About That Bass,” the album’s lead single, is what really kicked off Trainor’s career winning over not only the bass of youth’s stereos but their hearts as well. The song was released on June 30 and reached the top of US Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks.

The catchy tune sings about “Bass,” referring to the not-so-skinny rump Trainor has and reflects on how that’s not a bad thing.

“Yeah, it's pretty clear, I ain't no size two, But I can shake it, shake it, like I'm supposed to do,” Trainor sings.

The jam, written to declare how important having positive body image is, sings about “bringing booty back” and to "go ahead and tell those skinny b*****s that."

Along with a considerably good message, Trainor also has a few slams in the song as well.

“I see the magazines working that Photoshop, We know that s**t ain't real

Come on now, make it stop,” Trainor criticizes.

To say the least, Trainor knows what to say when it comes to writing relatable lyrics for teens. She hits the nail on the head one verse at a time, not to mention each track has mind-hauntingly good tunes.

Although Trainor’s rise to fame began this summer, music has always been a hobby of hers.

Trainor doesn’t just sing about herself but her lying lovers as well.

The second top hit on Trainor’s album is “Lips Are Movin’” which talks about lies from a boy.

“I know you lie, Cause your lips are moving, Tell me do you think I'm dumb?” Trainor states.

Music for Trainor has been a complete success so far. For just getting started, Trainor has a bright future in the entertainment industry.
